Both are throwing classes, yes, but considering 2/3 Archer subclasses deal next to no damage, it makes more sense for the Ambusher to belong to the Archer. WebIt prevents kicks and feints and you can sneak most of your hits in while they wind up a swing. It also allows you to control the pace and only react to their counters. This relies heavily on your counter and riposte timing to keep landing strikes while exchanging though so focus on improving that. WebI was having a lot of fun with ambusher. I run it with 2 short swords. Generally throw all my knives, 1 of the swords and try to find a 2handed weapon. The short sword is sort of weak but the speed you swing with it is amazing. The concept transfers over to the budget special attack. Just take a wiiiiide angle on the battlefield and come at somebody unsuspecting, see where they are going and go there as well. WebYeah Ambusher CAN be played as a sneaky class, it just is more about sneaky maneuvering than actual stealth.
